I’m Speaking at DesignThinkers 2024!
If you don’t know much about it, DesignThinkers is Canada’s biggest annual design conference and it’s hosted by RGD (the Association of Registered Graphic Designers) in Toronto every November.
This year I’ve been invited to host a workshop centred around type design — and in only 45 minutes, it’s going to be an intense crash course for all in attendance! My hope is to give participants an understanding of some of the core fundamentals in type design — those things that generally are quite opaque outside of the tiny circles of type design education — and then to put that into action as we play with the concepts to form our own unique letterform designs.
This year has had a lot of very cool opportunities pop up for me, and this is a BIG ONE. I still think it’s wild to be featured on the website right next to REAL bigshot design people!
